Interview, Revisited.

Over the last couple of days, I've been checking in with Trev a lot, asking him questions, making sure we're cool... that brought to mind this interview we did a couple of years ago.
Here's the 2011 version, from today.

1. What is something I always say to you?
I love you.
(Aaah, same answer as two years ago. :) )

2. What makes me happy?
Me playing games with you and me hanging out with you.

3. What makes me sad?
When you see when I'm not having a good time, and I'm in misery.

4. How do I make you laugh?
Pretty much you laughing makes me laugh.

5. What was I like as a child?
Mmmm, that's a tough question.

6. How old am I?
43, right? (42, still.)

7. How tall am I?
Well... let's get out the ruler.

8. What is my favorite thing to do?
Just to be with me, and take pictures.

9. What do I do when you’re not around?
You blog. And take pictures, I think. Sometimes do laundry. Read a book in bed, or on the couch.

10. If I become famous, what will it be for?
Prob'ly a photographer.
(I don't think he really thinks that, I just think he had Photographer on the brain. :) )

11. What am I really good at?
You're pretty good at making your kids happy. That I know of.

12. What am I not very good at?
Running, I'd say.

13. What do I do for a job?
Your job for the most part is just to look after us and be a mom.

14.What is my favorite food?
I'd say enchiladas.

15. What makes you proud of me?
Doing something that you haven't done in a while. Like running.

16. If I were a cartoon character, who would I be?
I don't think I have an answer for that.

17. What do you and I do together?
Well, that depends on the situation. Sometimes we go to the zoo. Sometimes we go to Classic... but at home, we usually just play games and hang out together.

18. How are you and I the same?
Mostly just our faces and our hair. For the most part.

19. How are you and I different?
First off, you're a female, of course. I mostly have freckles on my face, and you have them scattered over your body. You're 42, and I"m ten. You wear a bandana a lot; that's another thing.

20. How do you know I love you?
I know you love me 'cause you're my mom, of course. And it's because you think I'm cute and you like my personality. And because I have a great vocabulary.

All true!
I love him so.
:)

Tickling me.

Uh... um, uh... 13?

I'd say as tall as, well... 15 feet?

8. What is my favorite thing to do?
Play math games.
"What math games?"
Well... Math problems... and, well.... maybe JumpStart. That's a math game, isn't it?
"What math problems do we do?"
Like two plus two is four.
"
And we do that a lot?"
Yes.
"
Really? I ask you a lot of questions like what's two plus two?"
No. You don't.
??? :) (Never, really.)

'Cause I see them on your blog.
"Is there anything else I'm really good at?"
Looks around. "Um... well... spending time with me."

12. What am I not very good at?
Running.
Suspiciously, "Did you hear Trevy say that?"
"Yes." she grins. "Well, it's true. You're really not very good at running."

13. What do I do for a job?
Stay home.
What's my job at staying home?
Staying healthy.

All I want to say is, I'm hungry!

  1. Love this. I want to interview my kids now...a bit worried about the answers I may get about my age but it's worth it for the other answers.
