So full the seasons have been these last couple of years.
Long, glorious seasons.
I've reveled in it.

Farms and pumpkins

breadsticks and impossible contrasts

soft, glycerin leaves
and beeswax, too.

sugar cookies and spooky things

and extra holiday dinners.

Lots of "nothing..... and everything" going on in autumn time.

As summer winds down, I always get a little sad and panicky... "Not yet!, not yet!" I think.
But when it's slow
and winding
and I start seeing the tall, golden grasses in the fields and hills
I forget about what isn't,
for what Is demands all of my attention.

And it's full,
and beautiful,
and good,
that embrace.
