A Da Vinci Sort of Day

Ah, I love Kids Club.
So fun to have a group of regular childrens to romp with.
Right now our town is hosting the Da Vinci : The Genius exhibit at one of our current favorite places to play, The Leonardo museum.

When we were done in the special exhibit, we went into museum's tiny cafe, and refueled with lunch,
and then headed upstairs to the regular portion of the museum.
Most of this day was spent in the Tinkering Lab--with Automata!

Last time we played in the  lab we thoroughly enjoyed playing with electricity-- inspiring us to break out our Invetigating Electricity kit at home (and a few days later to build a radio).

This time I kept thinking 'Rube Goldberg!' and wondered what fantastic automatons we'd dream up at our kitchen table!

 To the park.

It's a good life.

  1. Life looks great for you guys. Lets see if blogger will let me comment (it hasn't for the past two months).

  2. We spent 4 and a half hours there that day. K loved it!

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
