sunday, sunday

Jumpstart, for Maddie.

a smoothie and exercise for me.  :)

Rat-a-Tat Cat

next she brought the abacus into the kitchen.
so we played with that for a little while.

soon after that, Trevy was waking, Maddie was writing down song lyrics,

Eric was laboring over breakfast, and I was researching organic and inorganic compounds.
which was very cool.  for me.
(here is a great page for that, by the way.)

MarioKart for three on the wiiiheeheee,
while I kept my nose in elements and molecules.

White (White Bunny is his name.  he has the number one spot; always has) is a nice bunny.  he doesn't care when Madd dresses him up in pinks and purples.

playing with optical illusions
bent?  nope.

A darker than B?  nope.
(took me a long while to resolve this one.  didn't believe it.)

(via a little kit we have)

cuisenaire rods

fraction whirl

an adventure into the neighborhood
with Dad
and Annabelle
and a bike

collars and tags and new beds for puppies.
(yes.  it's a daily thing.  since we can't adopt more...animated... dogs and cats and tigers and turtles every single day... we adopt, er, softer and quieter ones.  I'm just glad that this is an acceptable alternative. !!)

dessert.  (always.)

wiiheehee play.

what's next?
computer play?  a movie?  reading?
a little of all three, for Me, I would imagine.
and probably for them, too, hmm?

'til tomorrow, then.

  1. Aw, love White Bunny. So cute!

  2. Aw, we love playing with our abacus and writing song lyrics too. :-)

  3. those song lyrics are awesome. cuddle cuddle hug, rap in go maddie!

  4. "Dessert. (always)" made me laugh. I confess that we are dessert (always) people too. :)

  5. Oh, she didn't write (author) the song. It's from her toy, called a Cuddleuppet, that pink dog thing that's in every picture, lately! :)

  6. I really enjoy reading your blog! It is so inspiring!! Thank you so much for sharing.

  7. A beautiful day, indeed!
