january four

Our day began with polkas and wedding marches Wednesday morning.

We're learning how to work the new keyboard, and discovering particular songs for particular moods. This morning's was a dress up and leap and hop and twirl en Dance kind of mood. :)
So we push particular numbers, and then Play, and we have very fine accompaniment for quick feet and twirly costumes.

The day was discovered to be warm - and promised to be warmer - so into the front yard it was carried
--with a chocolate milk face.

Mama checked the weather, and it said 50 degrees and sunny (!!) so naturally I started thinking Outside!

"The Aviary!" said the children.

With a picnic.
A fine choice.

and through the park...

...And eventually back home to Dad,

dance costumes,

and more polkas.

It's a good life.

So jealous that you have that Aviary to visit. We don't have one :( I'll just put it on my list of places to visit when we come visit you ;)

BTW, that list is getting quite long ;)

Amazing weather for January!

What a day you all had. It was t-shirt and bare feet weather around here as well, though there is still lots of snow in some people's yards.

It looks like a good life, too! I need to find the instructions for our keyboard; they have so many fun things to do, but we don't remember what number is for what. :/ It looks like you are having tons of fun with yours!
