hopefully new keyboard comes  tomorrow.  writing on one 'puter, and editing and adding photos on another is sort of... well.  inconvenient, I guess is a fair word.  :)
But, as my brilliant son said, "Look on the bright side, Mom!" (wonder where he gets that from???) "...At least it wasn't your camera!"
oof.  true story, that.

yesterday she rowed away,
"Row, row, row your boat,
gently down the stream....
Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary,
Life is but a butter..."
in a laundry basket.
today it was in a pink umbrella.

research on the Cacao Tree.
Maddie thought that was pretty fine.

not as in "chore chart", but as in "d'you wanna put these in the drawer?"
(she loves that.)

"Mom... how would you make a pacifier?"
"Uuh... I don't know. My babies didn't use pacifiers. Some babies don't. And some babies suck their thumbs."
"Well, my babies want a pacifier, so I need to make one.  I'm not sure how."  Then, "Wait... I just got an idea..."

an' there it is.  :)

"What do you guys want to do?"
"Pizza bites!"
"Okay.  We can make them, but you have to be willing to do most of the work yourself, Bud. You make the dough."

plus crazy creations.

the game which shall not be named....

and more research.

that's about where we came in, hmm?
life is wonderful and beautiful and fine.
an' that's good enough for me.

  1. That first scene gets played out here so often. Usually in a basket with the two child-sized brooms. So sweet. Those pizza bites sounds delicious!

  2. Those pizza bites look yummy!

So much fun going on at your house :)

  3. Would love that Pizza Bite recipe, those look yummy!

  4. Huh--pizza bites from scratch?! Who'da thunk it? That's one of those things I used to eat, but haven't in years. You've inspired me (now if only I had someone old enough to make the dough...)

  5. The Pizza Bites are super duper easy, just tear off a little piece of risen dough, stretch it out, put a cube of cheese in and some pepperoni bits, seal it up, and place on greased pie dish.
Make an olive oil mixture for the top - garlic, oregano, and parsley, then shake grated parmesan over it.
The recipe is here, if you want it.

  6. Sounds GREAT! And I love, love, love that tree ornament!!

  7. Melody - Maddie's first ornament.
    ♥ ♥ ♥

  8. Mmmmm...pizza bites. :)

My middle boy loves Wild Kratts. :)

  9. I want to move in with you. :)

Pizza bites...Isaac would LOVE those. :)

Oh...and when I showed Fred the picture of your laptop on FB his chin nearly hit the floor. Better you than me. LOL.

ps - "the game which shall not be named"...ha ha ha.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
