free the medicine garden

write a book
(Maddie gets to be our Saturday's Artist)
"Snow Everywhere"

One Christmas evening there was one cat, one dog, one sister, one brother, and a mom and dad.

The brother was looking out the window. He saw that it was snowing.

"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Oh, I'm just looking out the window, because it's snowing outside."

"Oh my gosh, it is snowing out there!"

Let's open the presents under the Christmas Tree.

The End.

love the fish

admire the Painted Lady

harvest

play Oregon Trail and watch Clifford.

wonder
(about what is going on with this caterpillar and its green slime sections...?)

play volleyball

sing to the Western Tanagers
(there are three of them flitting about our home)

sculpt with a new kind of clay

and snuggle in while the next storm arrives,
watching Guardians of Ga'Hoole.

that will do.

  6. Hello

I can tell you about your caterpillar, but it ain't pretty...

It has had eggs laid inside it by a parasitic wasp. I know this because last year all of our caterpillers we tried to raise were infected.

    It's gross but fascinating.
