there are so many things i'm grateful for in this life with my family.
my husband and babies are first on the list, of course.
our home. the land immediately surrounding us. the city in which we live.
the thousands of resources in and around our home.
the whole wide world! i'm thankful for the whole big, wide, wonderful world.
i'm thankful that life on mondays can be fancy, or not, as it happens.
that it cannot matter to anyone but us.
i'm thankful for ideas.
i'm thankful for favorite lunch places
and i'm thankful for dollar movies.
and 3d glasses
because we want to.
i'm thankful that we've found our long lost friend Bill Nye. we've missed him so. (his videos were taken off youtube.)
i'm grateful for National Geographic videos.
and for Mark Twain documentaries,
and youtube videos.
can one be thankful for sovereignty?
sovereignty isn't something anyone can grant you, to my mind,
it is something you must feel,
and own for yourself.
it is being empowered, i think.
and no one can grant you that...
i'm glad -grateful?- that it is something my children
are learning to lay claim to, as well.
that will do.
