flat stanleys

talk of Titans
and Hercules.

computer play,

family time,

to lunch.

took the children to an import store,
to things they could see and touch and listen to and ask questions about...

aftican drums, stones, turkish cloths, art from India, Buddhas, instruments, prayer flags...

to the Capital!

we're hosting Flat Stanley (he usually lives here), so we thought we'd start with our State Capital.

right next to the capital is Memory Grove, which was verra tempting to the children, so we ventured in to run and play.

to home,

and computer play.

an' supper
an' Percy Jackson.

that'll do!

  1. Love the Flat Stanley pictures!

Your blog is such a refreshing way to start the day. Puts me in a peaceful mood. Thank you. :)

  2. Oh how we loved Flat Stanley...we hosted several southern Stanleys here in ND...snow pictures and all...such a treat for our southern friends...

  3. I need to send my address for our hosting of Flat Stanley. It had slipped my mind - oops! We visited your capitol on our way home from a 2 month trip this summer. It is a very beautiful building to encounter.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
